Hailey Wills is the newest member of the Nack, Richardson, and Nack team. A Galena native, Hailey joined Nack, Richardson & Nack in 2023. She graduated from Northern Illinois University where she earned her bachelor's and law degrees.
Hailey was admitted to the bar in 2023. She practices family and criminal law as well as real estate.

Thomas J. Nack
Thomas has been a member of Nack, Richardson & Nack, P.C. since 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Thomas was an Associate Attorney at Hotz & Weaver in Omaha, Nebraska. Thomas’ principal office is located in Galena, Illinois.
Thomas was born in Urbana, Illinois on August 5, 1965. In 1987, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois. In 1996, Thomas received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Creighton University, College of Law in Omaha, Nebraska.
Admitted to the Nebraska Bar in 1996 and the Illinois State Bar in 2000, Thomas is a member of the Jo Daviess County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Joseph E. Nack
Joseph has been a member of Nack, Richardson & Nack, P.C. since 1992. Prior to joining the firm, Joseph was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Peoria County, Illinois. Joseph’s principal office is located in Galena, Illinois.
Joseph was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 14, 1963. In 1985, Joseph received a Bachelor of Science degree from Springhill College in Mobile, Alabama. In 1988, Joseph received his Juris Doctorate degree from Creighton University, College of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. During law school, Joseph was a member of the Moot Court team.
Admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1989, Joseph is an active member of the Jo Daviess County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.

James J. Nack
James has been member of Nack, Richardson & Nack, P.C. since 1974. Prior to joining the firm, James was a Partner at the Chicago law firm of Winston & Strawn, LLP. James' principal office is located in Galena, Illinois.
James was born in Dubuque, Iowa on August 2, 1940. In 1961, James received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame. In 1964, James received his Juris Doctorate degree, with Distinction, from the University of Michigan, College of Law. James graduated in the top 10% of his law school class and received the honorary Order of the Coif award.
Admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1964, James is an active member and past president of the Jo Daviess County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
Active in community affairs, James has served on various boards, including the Galena Arts and Recreations Center, the Jo Daviess 708 County Board, and the Galena Public Library. Between 1975–1989, James was also the City Attorney for Galena, Illinois.

Louis A. Nack, Jr.
Louis has been a member of Nack, Richardson & Nack, P.C. since 1966. Louis’ principal office is located in Elizabeth, Illinois.
Louis was born on February 27, 1935. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1956 at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
In 1966, Louis received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Illinois, College of Law in Urbana-Champaign. He was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.
Admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1966, Louis is an active member and past president of the Jo Daviess County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
